A PROLIFIC AUTHOR WITH GREAT WRITING SKILLS IN THE POLITICAL GENRE



Achala Moulik is a former Indian bureaucrat and an author who has written 30+ books to date. Her writing is unambiguous and can bind the readers to the book.



She has written quite a few books on issues related to India and Russia. Her fascination for Russia began when she was gifted Rabindranath Tagore's famous "Letters from Russia". So, it would not be an exaggeration to say that her books form a bridge between the two countries.

It also shows her concern about the uncertainties in the relationship between the two countries in the coming years. In the book, she beautifully lists the similarities in the names, cultures, literature, etc between the two nations. She also writes how Russia has always helped India in crisis and acted as a shield to protect its sovereignty and freedom when needed.
